Design, without writing CSS

This is the part Boxlet CMS is really about.

Appearance: the design sets to choose from, each with its colours, beside the demo's home page drawn in the one in use.

21 design sets

13 are in Appearance from the start, and 8 more are one click away in the library. Each one changes how a page is composed: reading width, rhythm, section edges, how a hero is arranged.

Appearance: the main colour, light or dark, a second colour, the surface contrast and the palette worked out from them.

Then make it yours

A main colour and an optional second one. The whole palette is worked out from them, for a light site or a dark one.

Appearance: the typefaces for headings and text, ready pairings to choose from, and the text size.

27 typefaces, all on your server

Pair them, set the type scale, spacing, corners and shadows.

Appearance refusing to publish a design: it names the colour pairs that are too hard to read and offers to fix them automatically.

Hard-to-read text is refused

If a colour pair would make any text hard to read, Boxlet won't publish it and tells you which pair failed. Fix automatically is one press.

Designs travel

Export a design as a file and import it on another site. This site's own design is one of those files.

Next: Write on the page itself

Click a heading and type. Select words for bold, a link or a list.
